Fleur enjoys the freedom over her back that the Ansur allows.

As many horse owners know, finding the proper saddle for your horse can make a huge difference in both the levels of communication and enjoyment you will each get from the ride.  I have always looked for saddles that will allow an optimum amount of freedom and comfort for my horse but I wasn't sure what I was missing until I tried the Ansur.  I purchased the Ansur Classic in March 2010 and I, along with my horses, were hooked! In August of the same year I purchased Ansur's newest dressage saddle called the Excel.  The Excel, although treeless, offers the rider a twist; this in turn helps the rider drape their leg to achieve a classical position.  I wasn't sure how I would feel about changing to a more traditionally styled dressage saddle after experiencing the freedom and feel for the horse's back I had felt in the Classic.  My new Excel arrived and after a week of riding several horses in it, I admit that I liked it just as much as the Classic.  They are both great saddles.  The Classic offers a feel for the horse's back that only riding bareback can compare too.  The Excel offers support to help the rider achieve a more classical position.  I will continue riding and training my horses in both saddles. Kudos to Ansur for creating such a great product that is so beneficial to the horse and rider.
